This project involves the construction of a new water main to connect existing infrastructure along Creswell Street and Cooma Street in Crib Point.

The aim is to address the lack of water main connectivity between 46 Creswell Street and 26 Creswell Street, ensuring that residents have reliable access to water services.

Project Description

Location:

Crib Point, Victoria

Description:

– Detailed site assessments to identify existing infrastructure and determine the optimal alignment for the new water main.

– Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) : Installation of a DN 125 PE water main over a distance of 450 meters using HDD methods, allowing for minimal surface disruption.

– Associated testing and quality assurance measures to ensure the integrity and functionality of the installed water main.

– Coordination with South East Water to comply with all regulatory requirements and standards.

– Excavation and installation of additional water main sections, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding area.

– Restoration of the roadway and landscaping after the installation is completed.
