McFarlane Reserve Chemical Dosing Facility Civil Works 

The Peninsula Early Connection Offer (Peninsula ECO), transfers sewage from Rye, Blairgowrie, Sorrento and Portsea to the Boneo Treatment Plant. The Joint Principal Contractors South East Water (SEW) and FHDB – Fulton Hogan, Delplant, Beca designed and constructed the15.4km long transfer main, pump station and numerous odour control facilities.

FHDB – Fulton Hogan, Delplant, Beca accepted Land Engineering to upgrade the existing McFarlane Reserve and Fitzjohns Court pump stations with the installation of odour control measures, including both odour control units (ACFs and BTFs) and chemical dosing systems. Take a holistic approach for the entire Mornington Peninsula Sewer
Network to strategically minimise and control odour buildup and emissions.

The odour control parameters set a benchmark in odour control management of sewer pipelines
